| We don’t want fleas in our homes any more than our pets want to host them, but harsh chemical products are unhealthy for all concerned. Try these pet friendly ideas instead. |

| When you do find fleas, comb your pet with a flea comb. This method is far more inexpensive and healthy compared to using toxic flea products. Have a dish of water with a few drops of liquid soap in it nearby, and place the caught fleas in it; they will immediately sink to the bottom of the dish unable to jump away. Your pet will look forward to spending combing time with you. Fleas don’t like the smell of cedar chips or eucalyptus. By placing these natural scents around your pet’s bedding area fleas should stay away. |
