your home by recycling them at a local hazardous waste roundup.

Here’s an itemized checklist of acceptable recyclables:
aerosol spray products
antifreeze
batteries
brake fluid
fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides
fluorescent light bulbs
freon
gasoline
household cleaners
inkjet and toner cartridges
insecticides
motor oil and oil filters
paint, thinners, and solvents
pool and spa chemicals
propane tanks
*tires (*accepted only at transfer stations)
transmission fluid

These events are designed as neighborhood events so Metro requests that they are not widely publicized. In honor of that, please call for exact locations. Also, in taking care of the hazardous waste problem, let's not create another environmental hitch; please refrain from idling your car at these events.
