As technology advances, discarded electronic equipment is choking our landfills and polluting soil and water supplies. Electronics are made with resources that can be reclaimed and reused. Please recycle your
equipment at any of these locations:

Oregon E-Cycles
Free, thanks to electronics manufacturers and the Oregon Department
of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
Bring seven or fewer computers (desktops and laptops), monitors and

Cellphones
There are currently over 200 million wireless subscribers in the United States.
The average life of a new cell phone is 9 to 18 months.
Recycling the phones ensures that the toxic materials in the phones
don't end up in our landfills and groundwater.
Continued recycling and reuse of cell phones substantially reduces
the number of phones manufactured each year. This also reduces the demand for precious metals collected through environmentally destructive mineral mining.

Cell Phone and Battery Recycling Boxes
Call2Recycle, the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) recycles used portable rechargeable batteries and old cell phones at
these participating drop off sites:
Lowe’s
Office Depot
Radio Shack
Verizon Wireless

You can also recycle cell phone and MP3s at:
