More than 100 rescued farm animals reside at this sanctuary near
Scio, OR, east of Salem. Volunteer work parties provide an
opportunity to visit the farm and help with routine chores, after which everyone stops for lunch and a roundtable discussion of any topic concerning animal welfare. Please bring your own vegetarian lunch. NOTE: Work party volunteers, please wear boots and layers. Expect mud, more mud, with still more mud on the side.
